About Cape Verde

The republic of Cape Verde lies about 450 km from the coast of Senegal and about 1000 km south-west of the Canary Islands.

Cape Verde is an archipelago of 10 islands and a few islets and whilst the islands are all volcanic in origin each one is significantly different from the next.

The largest island Santiago is 990 km², about twice the size of the Isle of Wight. Brava is the smallest inhabited island at 64 km².

There are various activities to enjoy from island hopping, hiking, surfing, diving, fishing or simply taking advantage of the many beautiful beaches.
